How much do pools cost?

The smallest 2.2m (4,000L) pool is approximately $13,000-14,000, while the largest 3.4m (13,000L) pool is around $17,000-18,000. Prices include the completed pool but exclude delivery, site preparation, and permit costs.

Do I need council approval?

Yes, council approval and certification are required for any pool in Australia. Documentation differs by state, and it’s your responsibility to complete this process. Applications can be submitted through the council or via a private certifier.

Do I need a fence?

All states and territories in Australia interpret the Australian Standard (AS1926.1-2012) differently regarding pool fencing. It is your responsibility to ensure the pool complies with your local council’s fencing requirements.

Can I install the pool in the ground?

Yes, the pool can be installed in the ground. However, as the pools are relocatable, a retaining wall is required to keep damp soil 20-30cm away from the pool’s exterior. Adequate drainage must also be maintained. In-ground installs must follow Outback’s in-ground procedure and specifications to be covered by the warranty.

What heating options are available for the pool?
